We are a community organisation dedicated to improving both physical and mental health, reducing social isolation and improving the general wellbeing of vulnerable groups across the Liverpool City region through the provision of targeted services and community interventions.

Brian Lightbody
CEO
Health and Fitness professional, Sports Therapist, Personal Trainer, Boxing coach, Care Assistant.
I have over 15 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry, working many different roles within it, from gym instructor and lifeguarding, coaching and cornering MMA athletes to management. Recently I have started working in the care sector which inspired me to start Lightbody Health CIC to help to improve physical and mental health in my community of Knowsley and my City of Liverpool.

Spent over a decade in leadership roles with the third secord, passionate in imporving the health and wellbeing of local residents and supporting social entrepreneurship across the Liverpool City Region. BSC Hons / MBA Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute currently completing doctorate in third sector performance.
Andrea Lightbody

20 years civil service experience undertaking many different roles delivering services to the public. The last six years I have been involved with improving both school and local community projects. I have a passion for volunteering and building stronger community bonds and relationships in our local area. I am a health and wellbeing enthusiast.
Hillary Lewis
Independent Consultant & Wellbeing Officer
Hillary is the Health and Social Care Apprenticeship, Curriculum Lead and Lecturer at Warrington
and Vale Royal College and has a real passion for empowerment, self-improvement and growth.
Hillary has a career in the Health and Social Care and Training sector, both spanning 22 years. She
has managed Care settings and has been the Regional Lead for well-known training providers.
Hillary’ is a qualified Reflexologist, Practitioner and MBRA She is a strong supporter of Holistic
Therapies, including behavioural and analytical talking, support groups, mindfulness, including Art
Therapy.
Hillary has a BSc HONS in Sport and Exercise Science with Health Studies and a qualified Trainer,
Assessor and Lecturer.
Conor Henney
Director
Sport Science Suport Officer/Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Head of Strength & Conditioning at Liverpool John Moores University, previous experience workign in Academy Football, Para/Olympic talent pathways, Combat sports and teaching. Accredited Strength Coach with a BSc in Sports Science and MSc in Strength & Conditioning.
